Karl Overman: Birds and More

Definitely a rara avis.  Thought to be extinct for years but a small population was found in dry brushy hillsides in south central Ecuador and land was purchased by the Jocotoco Foundation to protect the species. It readily comes to the bird feeders at the reserve. Advanced reservations required.
