Karl Overman: Birds and more

The St. Clair County bird was photographed with my Canon 70-135 mm lens as my normal lens for bird photography, a Canon 100-400 was in the shop so to speak. I had 4 Orange-crowns in the Fort Gratiot Nature Area on October 4, 2010.

The Ontario bird was part of a remarkable collection of warblers attempting to winter in a small park in Oakville, Ontario, just west of Lake Ontario to the delight of winter birding enthusiasts of which there are many in Ontario.  The line up of high powered cameras there on the sunny day of December 7th, would have done justice to Point Pelee or Magee Marsh in May.
