Karl Overman: Birds and more

Roseate Spoonbill in 2021 had a remarkable incursion into the interior of North America.  This included Michigan’s first record in Saline, Michigan.  One showed up at White Star Park in Sandusky County, Ohio which is not much of a stretch from my normal Ohio birding circuit so I ventured there and easily saw and photographed this bird.  This was my second record for Roseate Spoonbill with the first east of Cincinnati on September 2, 2002 with four birds being present.
