Karl Overman: Birds and More

I found this beautiful butterfly on my hike back from seeing the Tufted Flycatcher in the Huachuca Mountains.  I had no idea what it was and it took me a while to figure out that it was a “White” butterfly.  Indeed the male is typically black and white like other whites but the female is this exquisite  orange and black creation.
